Solving complex forestry problems! The project to research and develop intelligent logging equipment for high mountain and cold regions has been launched in full.

On August 8, a meeting was successfully held in Hailar District to launch a major scientific and technological project of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region until 2026, entitled “Research and Demonstration of Multifunctional Intelligent Logging Equipment in High Mountain and Cold Regions.” The meeting was attended by representatives of scientific and technical departments at all levels, research institutions, forestry enterprises and industry experts. The project is led by Jiujia Machinery Company, and all participants have gathered to jointly promote the research and development of intelligent logging equipment in high mountain and cold forest areas.
At the kick-off meeting, the overall implementation plan for the project “Research and Demonstration of Multifunctional Intelligent Wood Harvesting Equipment in High Mountain and Cold Regions” was officially presented. Four project leaders presented presentations on key areas including pilot production and demonstration, major component and subassembly development, electro-hydraulic drive control and intelligent air-ground-space control system development, and overall design and power system development. An expert advisory group comprised of industry representatives reviewed and commented on the project plans, providing professional guidance for the smooth execution of the project. That same day, project teams held group discussions on topics such as refining evaluation metrics and implementing safety measures.
It is clear that the implementation of this project will effectively eliminate the shortcomings of mechanized logging in the high mountain forest areas of our city and even the entire region, improve the efficiency of forest production and the ability to ensure environmental safety, and will also be another important measure for Hulunbuir City to implement the "Scientific and Technological Revitalization of Inner Mongolia" initiative, and will promote environmentally friendly and high-quality development through scientific and technological innovation.
